Collaborate to Calm Your Classroom: A Team Approach to Sensory Modulation and Self-Management Skill Development at School


When is it?
Friday, April 12th from 8:30-3:30 pm

Where is it?
Miami Valley Regional Center 4801 Springfield Street, Dayton, OH 45431 in Room 300

Who should attend?
Educational teams of occupational therapists, intervention specialists, paraprofessionals, and/or general educators interested in a collaborative approach to meeting the needs of students with sensory integration and self-management skill deficits.

What should participants expect?
During this hands-on interactive session, an intervention specialist and occupational therapist will assist educational teams in developing a collaborative implementation plan to facilitate internal regulation and self-management skills in the classroom setting.  A variety of tools and calming strategies will be shared for both individuals and groups of students. 

How much does it cost to attend?
The cost is FREE to all districts who have already signed up for Miami Valley Autism Coaching Team services for the 2018-2019 school year.
